Every item ships and sells through Amazon

Returns

Every item here is bought from Amazon, so every return goes back through Amazon. This page explains the route rather than promising terms this site cannot set.

A return is a transaction between you and whoever sold you the item. Since nothing on this site is sold by this site, we are not in that transaction and cannot start, approve or refuse a return. What follows is how the process works and where to click, which is the useful thing a catalogue can offer.

The route, step by step

  • Open Your Orders in the Amazon account used for the purchase.
  • Find the order and choose Return or replace items.
  • Pick a reason. This matters more than it looks: a fault or a wrong item is treated differently from a change of mind, including who pays the return postage.
  • Choose the method offered — a drop-off point, a collection, or a locker. The options depend on the item and your address.
  • Print or show the code you are given, and send it. The refund is triggered by the item being scanned back, not by the request.
Keep the packaging until you are sure. A silicone mitt or a board set is easy to send back in the box it arrived in, and a return without packaging is the one that gets argued about.

The window and the condition

Amazon publishes a standard return window and applies its own rules on the state an item may be in. Both can differ by item, by seller and by the time of year, and both are shown against your specific order. That is why no number appears on this page: the figure that binds is the one in your account, not one retyped here months earlier.

For this particular range, the practical question is usually hygiene rather than time. Oven mitts and pot holders are textiles that go on your hands; cutting boards touch raw food. A set that has been used in a kitchen is a different proposition from one still sealed, and the reason given at the start of the return is what determines how it is treated.

If the item is faulty or not what was pictured

Say so explicitly in the reason, and photograph it before it goes back. A split seam on a mitt, a board that arrived cracked, a set that is short a piece, a colour that is plainly not the colour ordered — these are seller or fulfilment faults, and they are handled on better terms than a change of mind. Choosing the vague reason costs you that.

One case is worth flagging because it comes from the listings themselves. A couple of the source listings carry a dimension field filled with a placeholder rather than a measurement, and one describes an unrelated product in its bullet points. This site leaves those out rather than repeating them, but if you buy expecting a size that the listing never actually stated, that is a mismatch worth raising with Amazon rather than accepting.

Refunds

The refund goes back to the payment method used for the order, on Amazon’s timetable, and appears in the order record as it progresses. This site has no payment relationship with you, cannot see the refund and cannot speed it up. If it stalls, Amazon customer service is the escalation — there is no second route through us.

What we can do is fix the page. If a description here contributed to the wrong purchase — an unclear cuff length, a piece count that reads ambiguously — tell us at [email protected] and we will change the wording, because that is a defect on our side.
